Lidt gode råd fra Francisco Goya mht hvordan en TF tunes til max performance:
“These boards simply opened a whole new section on the wave for me, I started looking at the face as if I was on my surfboard, I could just go were I wanted with all the grip and control.
Also the rail fins allow you to increase the volume of these boards about 5 liters above what you would normally ride on a single fin, with no loss of control in the high end, adding wider range of use. Along the development of the shape, together with MFC we developed Twin 211series, they include 30% thinner foils with a more consistent outline shape from base to tip, making same size fin feel faster, more powerful with a consistent grip riding straight or on the rail”
Tuning: FOOTSTRAPS: Front foot(4) inserts options are spaced 2.5cm apart giving you all the range from maximum early planning and powerful ride on the furthest fwd positing, to the ultimate control when placed all the way back. The back foot inserts are set at 1.25cm apart, giving you the specific spacing necessary for fine-tuning your level of approach.
FINS: The fin boxes offer enough range to increase the power and early planing when placing them all the way back and all the looseness when set all the way forward, and yes, you can set them asymmetrically.
MAST BOX: Very simple, further fwd setting will allow you to ride larger sails and get planning faster and further back will give you more control specially when riding windier conditions and smaller sails.”
Enjoy the ride,
Francisco Goya
